Each UV coating type creates a different feel:

Spot UV highlights specific elements, a logo, a border, a headline, with a glossy raised finish against a matte background. It’s the most requested option for business cards and packaging where you want contrast without covering the whole surface.

Crystal UV goes thicker than standard spot UV, building a clear, resin-like dome that adds real dimension. It reads as more premium and tactile, popular for luxury packaging and invitation cards.

Abrasive UV (sometimes called soft-touch or textured UV) trades gloss for texture, a fine, sandy grain you feel under your fingers rather than see. It works well on covers and boxes that need to feel substantial.

Glitter UV embeds fine glitter particles into the coating for a sparkle effect, popular for festive packaging, invitations, and seasonal campaigns.
